( NO NUTS Please !) in the food either !!!

This years 175th Southwood Scouts Group Halloween party was a great success. The children had lots of fun and the adults did too. Thank you to the parents and Scout group volunteers that help to set up the Halloween party ahead of time and stayed late to make sure the schools gym was cleaned up.
The turnout for the party was good and the kids were well-behaved. The range and the quality of the Halloween costumes was impressive.
Please make a comment or send pictures and or videos from the party to the webmaster for posting. sara.lees at shaw dot ca

If you are new to the Scouting concept and would like to check it out and see who we are and what we do you are welcome to come and visit one of the regular sessions we have. Scouts is the worlds largest peace movement and it teaches kids responsibility, respect, sharing. First aid skills are tought to older kids and young adults and many useful skills that they will use throughout their lives as productive and balanced adults on a daily basis, like cooking, camping, fire building, how to survive in the wild, compass reading, respect for others, respect for ourselves, leadership among peers and much more. The 175th Southwood Scout Group is happy to accept new members and we encourage you to stop by the meeting that suits your child’s age group , or call a leader and get your questions answered right away.
