Edmonton has great Scout groups. Here at the 175th Southwood ScoutingGroup we are always ready to accept new members because we believe that Scouting rocks and it is a great family focused activity.
Putting members of your family into the different roles of the Scouting group promotes leadership , sharing and real life responsibility for your family , the community and eventually in the work world for people.
Scouting is the largest peace movement in the world. The focus of The 175th Southwood Scouts is engaged in community spirit and respect of all.

New to Scouting ?
If you are new to the Scouting concept and would like to check it out and see who we are and what we do you are welcome to come and visit one of the regular sessions we have. Scouts is the worlds largest peace movement and it teaches kids responsibility, respect, sharing. First aid skills are tought to older kids and young adults and many useful skills that they will use throughout their lives as productive and balanced adults on a daily basis, like cooking, camping, fire building, how to survive in the wild, compass reading, respect for others, respect for ourselves, leadership among peers and much more. The 175th Southwood Scout Group is happy to accept new members and we encourage you to stop by the meeting that suits your child’s age group , or call a leader and get your questions answered right away.

Cubs – Mondays – 6:20 to 8:00 @ Holy Family School MAP
Scouts – Tuesdays – 6:20 to 8:00 @ Holy Family School MAP
Ventures – Tuesdays – 8:00 to 10:00 @ Southwood Community League Hall MAP
